Their innovative offering enables healthcare providers to improve patient health and supports food manufacturers to ensure consumer safety. Now, they’re looking for an Assembly Operative to join their dedicated team on a fixed term contract in Southampton for a minimum of eight weeks. Your Role As an Assembly Operative, you will be tasked with the production and assembly of finished products at our client’s facility in Southampton. Reporting to the Head of Dispatch, your role will involve: - Assembling test kits - Adhering to work instructions, quality procedures and health and safety requirements - Labelling, assembling, packaging and dispatching diagnostic kits - Ensuring training records are kept up to date - Assisting with the on-time dispatch of packaged finished goods - Ensuring working areas are effective and in full working order - Helping to train and supporting new team members About You To be considered as an Assembly Operative, you will need: - Experience of working within an assembly environment - An awareness of quality system requirements including GMP - Excellent attention to detail - A flexible approach especially regarding working hours - The ability to work well within a team to deliver projects on time - To have pride in your work and areas of responsibility - Manual handling training plus an awareness of safe dry ice handling Other organisations may call this role Production Assistant, Production Operative, Dispatch Operative, Manufacturing Operative, Manufacturing Technician, Assembly Technician, Kit Production Technician, Production Assembly Assistant, Assembly Line Technician, or Medical Device Production Technician. This is a full time role working shifts between Monday and Sunday with flexibility to suit needs.
