Head of IT Service Delivery - Mid Kent - Up to £70,000 plus benefits - April/May Start My client has an excellent opportunity for a hands on Head of IT Service Delivery to play a key part across the business and the IT department creating and improving the current service delivery model. As the Head of IT Service Delivery this role will involve a wide variety of tasks such as; Creating the IT Service Desk processes for management and escalations Introduce, train an embed ITIL service management across the group Working with internal IT Development and Project teams to ensure smooth delivery of any new changes Creating release management and disaster recovery processes Plan, develop and implement the IT budget across the team Training and development with the team to ensure excellent customer service Managing service desk performance and reviewing staff weekly/monthly via 1:2:1's Manage all facilities at both the Kent and London office Oversee purchases of all IT software, hardware, office equipment and furniture Skills Required Excellent leadership and people management skills Excellent customer facing/customer service skills Previous experience as an IT Service Delivery Manager managing a Service Desk team ITIL Qualified with expert knowledge of ITIL disciplines A technical support background with a broad exposure to Microsoft products and IT infrastructure including Azure Experience of outlining security and IT policies and ensuring systems data and security compliance An excellent understanding of supporting the following technologies is required; Office 365 support and security admin and monitoring MS Exchange Azure, Azure Security Centre admin and monitoring , Azure Virtual Machine Firewalls and NSGs management Active Directory Physical and virtual server management Storage and backup LAN/WAN and Cisco ASA Firewalls ACL/statics management Remote VPN tunnels and site-to-Site VPN tunnels knowledge of security planning, reviews and penetration testing Suitable candidates will be contacted within 24 hours of applying.
