Overview

Operations Manager £50,000 - £60,000 City THE COMPANY: Our client is a global reinsurance company who are leaders within this industry. They are currently looking to hire an experienced Operations Manager who will be the primary lead for the development and implementation of all facets of office and facilities management for the London office. THE ROLE: The Operations Manger’s duties will include; - Manage the office lease - Develop and maintain ‘Office Management Handbook’ - Develop and produce monthly Office management ‘balanced scorecard’ reporting against a set of agreed KPIs - Dotted line supervision of Team Assistants to provide coordination of administration across the business (e.g. ensuring coverage of lunches, holidays, sickness) - Develop, implement and monitor an office wide internal communication plan including office ‘operating rhythm’ guidelines - Lead and manage office/facilities operation - Project management duties for capital and remodelling projects. - Maintain working relationships THE PERSON: Education and Experience - 10 years office management related experience - 5 years supervisory/management experience - Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) or The National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) - British Institute of Facilities Management (BIFM) Skills and Abilities - Advanced ability Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills - Advanced oral and written communication skills - Advanced ability to work well within a team environment - Knowledge of facilities management and planning, administrative procedures and property management and maintenance - Ability to quickly adapt to new methods, work under tight deadlines - Advanced persuasion and negotiating skills when working with internal/external customers Our mission: To be the leading Executive Secretarial & Support recruitment consultancy in London, for employers and jobseekers alike.
