Overview

Robert Half Finance and Accounting are helping our client with their search for an Accounts Assistant to join their team immediately, based in Birmingham City Centre. The experienced Accounts Assistant will join an existing team, helping assist the senior members of the team. This role is on a 6 month temporary contract and has the possibility of becoming permanent for the right Accounts Assistant. Our client has been experiencing great growth and are looking to increase the size of the team to help with backlog and increase efficiency Role The successful Accounts Assistant will be responsible for: Processing invoices Bank Reconciliations Revise credit notes Debt notes Producing the delivery notes and matching to invoices Matching incoming payments Profile The successful Accounts Assistant will be: Proactive and willing to get stuck in Experienced in processing invoices Knowledgeable of the accounting functions A very fine eye for detail Ownership of work Able to work towards tight deadlines Good at managing their workload Can hit the ground running Able to commute to Birmingham City Centre Salary & Benefits Up to £12 per hour Possibility of becoming permanent for the right Accounts Assistant candidate Holiday pay Great network links nearby to Birmingham City Centre The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training.
