Are you experienced in Accounts processing - PL, CC, Bank Reconciliations and processing weekly and monthly payroll. as well as experience managing a team of people who report directly into yourself? Then please read on I have a great opportuntiy for you. based on the Birmingham Business Park £28-30,000 per annum Bonus (paid out every year for the past 8 years) Start date April 2020 About the Role: This position is responsible for the day to day smooth running of the back office support to the growing retail group Ensure all Accounts Payable transactions are completed Provide debt management support Prepare all reconciliations Day to day management of bank balances Key Tasks and Responsibilities: Management of a small team (3) to ensure all vendor invoices are processed in a timely manner Able to support and train business users on how to follow basic accounting processes to reduce rework of documentation Able to work with larger team to ensure all account customers credit limits are appropriately set and maintained Able to debt collect complex cases Able to accurately reconcile and manage bank accounts Management of fixed asset register To support the finance manager in the day to day running of the back office Skills, Education and Experience: Recognised accounting qualification - AAT qualified as a minimum Experience of working within an SME multi-site operation Experience of running an in house payroll History of successful credit management and debt collection Preparation of reconciliations Preparation of journals Able to take accounts to Trial Balance level Strong IT skills and working experience with finance IT systems Excellent Excel skills Proactive individual with a "can do" attitude Excellent problem-solving skills and mentality. High sense of urgency and ability to deal with multiple and/or conflicting priorities. Strong communication skills with an ability to listen effectively and articulate business cases. Open minded, proactive and able to drive change.
