Assistant Accountant required for multinational organisation in Oxford Assistant Accountant £25,000 study support Oxford Permanent, full-time Your new company A multi-national organisation in East Oxford are seeking an ambitious Assistant Accountant to join their Finance team. This role is a permanent, full time position and will report into the Finance Manager. Your new role As the successful candidate you will be responsible for both financial and management reporting and accounting. You will prepare budgets, forecasts and maintain KPI reporting dashboards, as well as raising invoices and reporting for clients. Furthermore, you will routinely assess P&L ahead of month end, prepare billing and reporting packs for clients, cashflow forecasting and overseeing balance sheet reconciliations. You will also be required to assist with year-end statutory accounts preparation as well as year-end audit What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will ideally be studying towards an accounting qualification, and hold experience in month-end accounting. You should have excellent organisational skills and hold a flexible working attitude. You will be proactive in your approach and be confident improving processes. You should have strong Microsoft Excel skills, with the ability to perform VLOOKUP and IF functions.
