Overview
A fantastic Credit Controller position has recently come available for the at a highly reputable business based in Birmingham City Centre. You will be working as part of a dynamic and fast paced team working with small and large customers to ensure prompt payment of invoices and manage credit exposure. You will be reporting directly to the Financial Controller and will have a fantastic opportunity to progress your career. As a Senior Credit Controller, your responsibilities will include: Managing credit exposure and proactively reviewing limits Ensuring customers are properly supported to make on time payments which includes checking invoices and statements have been received and queries have been dealt with Supporting the sales ledger team to ensure payments are reconciled quickly and correctly Negotiating repayment plans when required Providing administrative support to the finance team Reporting periodically to the Financial Controller and Directors on outstanding credit As a Senior Credit Controller, you will have/be: 2-3 years credit control experience in a fast paced environment Great verbal and written communication skills and an ability to build a relationship with a large variety of customers and individuals Outstanding attention to detail Genuine leadership ability Demonstrable ICT skills including Excel and a natural ability to work around computer systems Drive and ability to grow a career - fast growth company with lots of opportunities Experience with Sage Ability to input ideas and suggestions for our in-house development team to create more efficient workflows and automation For more information on this, or any other finance roles in Birmingham City Centre, please contact Robert McShane at
