Overview

We are looking for full time Newly Qualified Social Workers to work across Adults Social Care. The social workers may need to be deployed in the Community and Hospital teams. They may also be required to work in other teams. This is a borough wide hospital/intermediate care service. The service aims to improve the outcomes of residents in Sandwell by; Enabling/facilitating timely discharges from hospital Monitoring and facilitating timely discharges from intermediate care provisions Offering alternatives to hospital admissions Supporting people to return to independent living You will deliver an enhanced customer experience that promotes the wellbeing of vulnerable adults to enable them to live independently for longer, supporting them in retaining and regaining their skills and confidence. You will be social work qualified and hold either the degree in social work, Dip SW, CQSW or equivalent and Social Work England registered. An Enhanced DBS will be required for these posts.
