Overview
Dove Resourcing is currently working alongside a Staffordshire based residential childcare organisation to recruit an experienced Residential Care Workers to join their EBD children’s home. This particular service is a 3 bedded that accommodates young people with quite emotional behavioural difficulties. The organisation is looking for an experienced Residential Support Workers whom has direct prior experience working with young people with challenging behaviours. As a Residential Childcare Worker, you would be expected to; Work under the direction of the registered manager Ensuring that all aspects of care and support delivered are compliant with relevant legislation and regulations and that high quality care is embedded within the culture of the team. Work towards each young person individualised support plan. Ensure accurate records are kept from each shift. Update and implement each young person’s tailored care plan. Act as a role model to the YP within the home at all times. To apply for this position, it is essential you have direct experience working with children / young adults with complex needs. You must have worked previously in a residential setting – leading teams within relevant Ofsted guidelines and have achieved a minimum level 3 diploma in children and young people workforce / health and social care. Residential Care Workers will work on shift and this will include a small number of sleep ins to be completed each month which will be paid at a supplement of £62.75 Applications are subject to satisfactory DBS and reference checks. This organisation is highly driven by offered tailored and outstanding packages of support to young people in the service, as such we are looking to attract highly experienced members of staff, to do this we are able to offer an extremely competitive salary of between £15.5K – £18K excluding the additional sleep in payments.
