Overview

Dove Resourcing is currently working alongside a Staffordshire based residential childcare organisation to recruit an experienced Senior Residential Care Workers to join their EBD children’s home. This particular service is a 3 bedded home that accommodates young people with quite emotional behavioural difficulties. The organisation is looking for an experienced Shift lead /Senior Support Worker whom has direct prior experience working with young people with challenging behaviours. As a Senior Residential Childcare Worker, you would be expected to; Shift lead under the direction of the registered manager Ensuring that all aspects of care and support delivered are compliant with relevant legislation and regulations and that high quality care is embedded within the culture of the team. Take responsibility and be the go to for all junior members of the staff team. Ensure accurate records are kept from each shift. Update and implement each young person’s tailored care plan. To apply for this position, it is essential you have direct experience working with children / young adults with complex needs. You must have worked previously in a residential setting – leading teams within relevant Ofsted guidelines and have achieved a minimum level 3 diploma in children and young people workforce / health and social care. Seniors will work on shift and this will include a small number of sleep ins to be completed each month which will be paid at a supplement of £62.50 Applications are subject to satisfactory DBS and reference checks. This organisation is highly driven by offered tailored and outstanding packages of support to young people in the service, as such we are looking to attract highly experienced members of staff, to do this we are able to offer an extremely competitive salary of between £18.5K – £20.5K excluding the additional sleep in payments.
