Local authority in North-East London looking for driven Team Manager Reference: 119682 Type: Permanent Salary (£): Up to £52,482 depending on experience Job summary: A local authority North-East London is looking for an organised and experienced Team Manager with extensive experience in referral and assessment. Having recently secured funding, they are also able to provide external training for permanent staff, meaning any social worker who wants to add strings to their bow can so without having to seek training elsewhere. The senior management for this local authority has also been working hard to keep permanent staff, meaning less disruption to cases and ultimately less stress for social workers. Another way they minimise disruption is by using a new operating system which combines the functions of the Children's, Adults, Public Health and Housing services so information is easy to collate, is looking for an experienced Team Manager to lead their R&A team. The advantage of working within this system is that social workers spend less time chasing information and can focus on providing an excellent service.
