Project Cost Accountant Central London £60k - £65k plus benefits Do you want to get involved the most exciting programme of works in the UK? Do you want to revolutionise the daily lives of commuters in London? Are you ready to head up your own project costs team? We're setting up a team to roll out 4G mobile connectivity across the underground sections of the London Underground network. This highly ambitious, complex project is going to change the way millions of people use the Underground and you'll play an integral part of that. Do you want to get involved? As our Project Cost Accountant you will be responsible for implementing effective accounting procedures and proactive management of all project costs associated with each contract. You will be the primary point of contact for suppliers and customer finance teams, ensuring accurate and timely tracking, reconciliation and reporting of capital and operating expenditure across our supply chain. You will play a key part in developing a highly effective finance function which drives positive results and an excellent working relationships across the business. To be able to hit the ground running you will need proven experience of cost accounting practices, standards, systems and processes across multi-faceted projects. A background within construction or civil engineering would be highly beneficial and, as we anticipate building a team underneath you, any management experience would be great. Our organisation has rolled out similar telecoms projects around the world so we understand how to make this a success however you will be part of the first wave of professionals in the UK so need to appreciate the challenges this entails.
