Overview
My client are an Asset Management firm with a strong Pan Asia presence. This role is based at their EMEA head office in London. We are assisting them with the recruitment of a permanent internal auditor. Reporting into the Head of Internal audit, your main responsibilities will be to deliver full end to end internal audits across the asset management business as well as to ensure the smooth running of the co-source agreement currently in place during this period of transition. You will be the focal point as the business transitions from being an outsourced internal audit function to an in-house internal audit team. A strong grasp of risk and controls as well as strong communication skills are essential for the successful applicant. This is a high profile asset management client with over $1bn under management and as such for the right candidate they can offer a very strong financial incentive package. The successful applicant will be ambitious and keen to use this opportunity to forge a career for him/herself. Opportunities are expected to arise in the wider business for this role as time progresses. You will: Be ACA/ACCA/CPA qualified Have previous experience of working within financial services - this can be in house or as part of your client portfolio whilst working in practice. Have strong interpersonal skills. Having a personality and being outgoing is considered to be one of the most important criteria for this person and it must be easily demonstrable.
