Overview
This Corporate Tax Manager job in Edinburgh is a rare opportunity to support a global business for the next 9-12 months to cover for an internal secondee. The company is the UK's market leader in its field and one of the largest operators in Europe. As Corporate Tax Manager, you'll work closely with the Head of Tax to support the tax compliance process for a range of legal entities within the Group. This will of course include dealing with tax administration including payments, tax filings and tax authority correspondence. As Corporate Tax Manager, you'll play a key part in the delivery of the quarterly internal and bi-annual external tax reporting on an IFRS basis and you'll also support the business on a number of key advisory projects as well. These will include (but not be limited to), providing tax advice on corporate transactions, transfer pricing and international taxes to name but a few. It's a very varied role, offering excellent scope to add value. The successful candidate is likely to be a fully qualified accountant and/or tax professional with a background in Corporate Tax, either from a professional services environment, or in a larger corporate or financial services business.
