Overview
Jenson Fisher are working with our long term client on the south side of Edinburgh to recruit a Systems Accountant on a contract basis for a period of 6 months. Working closely with the Senior Management Team, the Systems Accountant will be from a financial background however also be adept and experienced working on systems migrations. The responsibilities of the Systems Accountant will include; Review of legacy system to outline best way forwards. Analysis of starting point and outline steps to be taken. Design and implement internal system controls. Review system performance and identify potential issues. Work closely with the IT department on finance related system issues. As the successful candidate you will have strong systems development and broad financial experience. The Systems Accountant must have the ability to collaborate with key stakeholders across the business and possess advanced computer software skills including Excel at advanced level and other accounting packages.
