Role : Senior Database Administrator (DBA) Location : Gloucester OR London Type : Permanent Salary : £40,000 - £65,000 Security Clearance : Developed Vetting (DV) / SC (or clearable) A dynamic, front-footed and world-leading IT services company are looking to expand their team, in order to help aid their client growth and development of big data. This is an excellent opportunity for Senior Database Administrators to take a step up, and join at their pivotal stage of growth. We are looking for 10 years of Database Administration experience across both MS SQL and ORACLE Database technologies. It'd also be great if you could write and maintain scripts to automate DBA tasks e.g. Powershell/Unix Shell Scripting. Other requirements include: RHEL/OEL 5,6 and 7 Install, configure database binaries Backup/Recovery procedures and scripting Database Server Clustering and failover Desirable skills: Experience with other Database technologies such as Mongo, MySQL, Sybase, Postgres will be considered an advantage.
