Title: Payroll Administrator Salary: £28,000 circa Location: South Mimms area Hours: Mon - Fri - 8.30am - 5.30pm Must haves: 2 years payroll experience, strong administration skills including accurate data entry, knowledge of payroll and tax codes, good communication skills, HMRC knowledge ideal Our Client who are a well established business of over 20 years are seeking a competent down to earth, professional Payroll Administrator. The main purpose of this role is to support weekly payroll and answer any umbrella payroll related queries in a timely manner. Excellent customer service is vital, to ensure clients feel comfortable discussing their payroll concerns. You will provide general support surrounding the payroll which will be run by the payroll manager Responsibilities: First point of contact for payroll queries Inputting weekly payroll data for over 800 staff Adding new starters to the system - up to 50 a week - checking right to works, personal details including address and bank details etc Correct and emend tax codes - providing knowledge around tax code queries Processing P45s Sending out contracts, invoices for payment Chase up ID and proof of address Attributes: 1-2 years payroll administration experience ideal Payroll, tax and HMRC knowledge Good attention to detail and accurate data entry skills Fantastic telephone manner Highly organised, dependable and professional Ability to cope well in a fast paced environment Crisp Recruitment Ltd is a local recruitment consultancy based in Borehamwood.
