QBE Practice Accountant, South Liverpool Description: A modern firm of accountants based in South Liverpool is looking to recruit an experienced QBE Practice Accountant to join their professional and friendly team. Reporting directly to the Partner, you will take responsibility for a portfolio of owner managed businesses, predominantly limited companies between £50k to £5m turnover, across a range of industry sectors. You will be the first point of contact for the clients, dealing with day to day queries alongside ensuring all compliance work is completed to a high standard and to deadline. Responsibilities include: Year end accounts production Quarterly VAT returns Self-assessment tax returns Monthly Payroll CIS returns Dealing with ad-hoc queries Managing the workflow for junior team members Benefits: Salary is negotiable dependent on experience up to £30,000. Essential Requirements: A wealth of accounts preparation and taxation experience, gained from general practice Good IT skills and knowledge of a variety of accounting packages including and Xero Confident and professional manner – ability to work face to face with clients from Day One.
