Overview
Our client based in Fleet is looking for a Senior Lettings Manager. The candidate will have experience working in the industry and working with a Landlord in managing their entire property portfolio as well as liaising with key in-house team of Caretakers who maintain the building/properties. Must have a complete understanding of the lettings 'management’ process and ideally be MARLA qualified. Possess excellent verbal communication skills both by telephone and face to face, be able to communicate accurately and concisely using written communication, have a confident telephone manner and an ability to remain calm under pressure. Have good problem-solving skills, good personal presentation and have the ability to build effective relationships using tact and diplomacy. Dealing with ad hoc problems and unforeseeable situations. Qualifications • A good standard of education is essential • IRPM Part 1 essential • MARLA • Full valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle Experience • Proven, relevant management experience is essential • Excellent client management skills • A background in Property (Block) Manager, Lettings and Management, with a clear understanding of Assured Shorthold tenancies • Knowledge and experience in both Block Management and Lettings, with current up-to-date working knowledge of relevant industry legislation/regulations and procedures • Self-motivated and able to on work own initiative • Ability to work within a small team environment • Work on own initiative, be highly organised with attention to detail and ability to think things through, not just follow a checklist • Excellent computer skills, knowledge of Jupix would be an advantage Index Recruitment is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
