Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Lead Mechanical Engineer to join the team of one of an established Life Sciences company at the forefront of technology. The role: - Whole lifecycle responsibility for delivery of all hardware designs – instruments and consumables, mechanical and electronic - Concept development, prototyping, production design, transfer to production, support when in production - Responsible for ensuring packaging, labelling, sterilization is carried out Experience: - Mechanical Engineering principles e.g. materials, structures, thermal analysis - Microsoft Office and Product Data Management (PDM) systems - Manufacturing processes and materials, e.g. machining, sheet metal, injection moulding, casting and extruding - ONC/HNC in Mechanical design or equivalent - Relevant regulatory standards 0 ISO13485, ISO14971, ISO60601, ISO62366 (preferred) - CFD and/or FEA (preferred) Salary: £55,000 - £75,000 (DOE) The interview process includes a telephone interview followed by an onsite interview.
