Role & Responsibilities ·Combine internal and external data sources, providing complex analysis such as modelling data trends and data visualisations. ·Transform the way that the company analyses data and supports change orientation. ·Encourage emerging talent. ·Help the organisation to change their view of data. ·Resolve data quality, data linkages and data cleansing issues. Experience & Skills Required ·Have an academic background in Maths, Statistics, Computer Science or similar experience. ·Identify market and customer opportunities and consider how this can used more effectively. ·Demonstrate great communication skills. ·Possess advanced SQL and data interrogation skills. ·Must have R, Spark and/or Python (or similar query-based or high level programming experience) to an expert level. ·Good knowledge and practice of machine learning ·Practical experience delivering several examples of innovative, data driven solutions on large or complex data sets. ·Hands-on aptitude for picking up new technologies relevant to the data. ·Have advanced skills/expertise in data mining, social network analysis and text mining. ·Proficiency at transforming data, data classification and translations.
