Assistant Technical Manager Job ref: 62611 | £35,000 - £40,000 | London The company The business is dedicated to producing and suppling the finest quality products. The job Your role is to support the Technical Manager in the daily running of the technical department plus oversee the technical services and quality teams on a daily basis. You will monitor safety, legality and quality issues, manage internal audits, technical testing and non-conformances plus the management and monitoring of complaints. You will also assist in the control of suppliers, preparing for site audits including BRC plus participate in internal meetings, training and staff development when required. Your experience You will be an extremely driven and passionate individual and hold a good track record of working in a technical position in the food manufacturing industry. This role would suit someone who is career driven looking for a great role before taking on a full Technical Manager position. You will ideally be educated to a degree level in a food science / technology discipline and food safety / HACCP qualifications would also be a great benefit. You will also possess good working knowledge of BRC, food safety and food hygiene standards, ideally within a chilled foods environment.
