Overview

IT and Digital Support Specialist is required by a well-known and respected association based in central London. They are looking for a candidate who can not only provide full IT user, networking and infrastructure support but also someone who understands that technology is fundamentally driven by the needs of the business, not the technology. This is a 12 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT, working full time hours, paying £30,000 to £36,000 pro rata - interviews will be in mid to late March 2020. Our client are going through a significant period of digital and IT change with clear ambitions to become digital by default and data driven. They are preparing to revolutionise their digital and IT function to ensure that our technology is fit-for-purpose, business focussed and that we are able to adopt an agile approach to operations and product development. The role of IT and Digital Support Specialist will focus on three core areas: 1. Technical support across the infrastructure, network, systems and users 2. Supporting the Head of Digital & IT and the Systems Implementation Specialist and web and digital colleagues with system migration, implementation and development 3. Developing, implementing and embedding a DevOps/ITIL Change Management hybrid structure across the organisation to ensure robust, low risk IT and digital change The candidate will not need prior DevOps or ITIL Change Management experience, but they will possess the right level of business knowledge and enthusiasm to learn rapidly and use their creative skills with support from the Head of Digital & IT. The post holder will have the opportunity to contribute towards and shape the implementation of agile working practices, digital, IT and product development and change management. Essential requirements: " Advanced level technical skills and knowledge, strong 1st and 2nd line support and be experienced in managing and supporting networks and IT infrastructures - including supporting LANs, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN and Switches/Routers and Firewalls " Experience with the following technologies: Active Directory, Group Policies, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Office, Windows 7/8/10, SLQ, CRM databases and CMS platforms " Strong business acumen and be able to work collaboratively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
