Implementation Consultant- Accounting Software Bristol based role with travel to UK customer sites (2 days per week). Salary up to £55 base (depending on implementation experience), plus car allowance and comprehensive benefits. Due to continued growth we are looking for an Implementation Consultant- Accounting Software with good business understanding and interest in new technology. You will implement Financial/Accounting Software for customers, where there are typically multiple stakeholders involved, system integrations and multi-disciplinary teams. The ideal Implementation Consultant- Accounting Software will have a track record of delivering successful Accounting Software implementations, either from the supplier side or from the customer side. You should be a qualified accountant and ideally worked or delivered into the further education or not for profit sectors. Main responsibilities for the Implementation Consultant- Accounting Software: Implement Financials/Accounting software for new customers Ensuring implementations follow best practice, and helping customers streamline their business processes Driving implementation projects to deliver measurable business benefits as identified in the pre-sales process Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and within scope Additional Responsibilities: Presales including completion of tenders and running solution workshops when required Testing of new releases Development of user documentation Input into development priorities in relation to UK specific accounting requirements Business focused input into marketing collateral and marketing campaigns Running training courses Requirements: Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ICAEW or CIMA) Experience of implementing ERP/Financial systems (at least 1 full lifecycle) such as Deltek/Maconomy, Microsoft AX, Netsuite, FinancialForce, Oracle, Sage 200, SAP or Unit4/Agresso or other mid market accounting system, whether as an external consultant or from the customer side Practical experience in one or more of the following business areas: Management and financial accounting Project management, project accounting, project billing Multi-currency reporting, multi-company accounting and consolidation Purchasing, stock accounting and ordering Knowledge of HR and Payroll will be useful in the future Good understanding of basic business processes Good IT technical skills and understanding Happy with an office-based role in Bristol with UK travel to customer sites (2 days per week) Personal characteristics: Self-motivated with the ability to motivate themselves and others Service-minded and solution focused Responsible and reliable Accurate and structured Targeted and focused Ability to work both independently and in teams Flexible and have the willingness to learn Good communication- and presentation skills Good written English We can offer: The opportunity to work with the business system of the future Exciting and professional challenges and opportunities for professional and personal development A good and pleasant working environment with a great team of people This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89645527
