Overview
If you happen to be an IT professional looking for a new challenge, the memcom recruitment team want to hear from you. We are looking for an exceptionally talented Head of IT to work within a medium-sized, high-profile professional association based in Central London. As Head of IT, your scope will include the development, delivery and evaluation of the IT strategy in support of the Association’s business operations, which involves the delivery of both scheduled activities and specific projects, meeting agreed deadlines and targets as well as providing leadership on all things technologically focussed, such as decisions on strategic and operational issues, contributing to strategies and plans for developing the Association’s response to its technological needs of the future. The role requires specific knowledge, decision-making abilities on complex issues requiring high awareness levels and understanding of ICT functionality, staffing and resources and the ability to manage high financial budgets (for contracts, fees, equipment purchase, staffing and contingencies) as well as the ability to plan for significant capital expenditure on approved project activities and infrastructure.
