Overview
I am currently working in partnership with this ambitious fast paced global company in Swindon to recruit an Interim Financial Controller for an initial period of six months with scope of a permanent position. To perform this role, it is essential that you will be operationally focused to undertake a range of tasks to facilitate the company's reporting requirements. This is a varied role and the ability to work in a fast pacing forever changing environment is essential. Key duties include: Prepare full set of management accounts including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash flow - production of forecasts and KPI metric reports Provide full commentary to the senior leadership team in monthly meetings Ensure compliance with all statutory financial regulations Review accounting processes, practices and systems to improve to ensure efficient financial operations Knowledge transfer of key operational task to ensure streamlined operational delivery working to stringent reporting time-scales Support Payroll analysis Produce month end and year end journals Review of Balance Sheet Reconciliations Review of costs including accruals and prepayments as needed Monitoring sales and purchase ledger performance and payment controls Manage working capital cycles and managing cash investments Support production of statutory accounts Revenue reporting analysis, analyse financial information to assist business profitability and growth Person Specification: Qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA Strong technical accounting skills Advanced Excel skills Proven experience of working in a fast- paced commercial organisation Excellent business partnering skills Hands on experience in preparing/ reviewing complex reconciliations If you are interested in this position, please forward your CV.
