Overview

Highly reputable and forward thinking Swindon employer has an immediate need to recruit an Interim Senior Payroll Officer to cover a period of maternity leave for 12 months. This role is a priority hire and will play an integral role in supporting and processing all payroll activity for the business. Applications from candidate seeking part time hours will also be considered/ Key Responsibilities: Execute payroll processes to ensure compliance with all Payroll legislation Complete month-end financial processing as required Respond to and resolve enquiries and complex queries to provide an effective customer service and clear advice to colleagues and customers Ensure data integrity for respective areas of data entry and troubleshoot as needed Monitoring payroll processes, policies and procedures, providing input for improvements and enhancements to existing processes. Utilising payroll and business knowledge, understand customer objectives and make recommendations based on statutory, compliance and application capacity to resolve issues or make improvements. Your skills and experience: Experience of working in a Payroll function with an up to date knowledge of payroll legislation. Knowledge and experience of P60, P11D, RTI, Tax and NI payments to HMRC is essential Experienced in running multiple payrolls end to end within a fast paced global or smaller organisation You will be a confident communicator, comfortable with liaising with internal and external customer at varying levels You will be a pro-active individual and a logical thinker, with the ability to make decisions, while working within a supportive and close knit team Artis Recruitment provide specialist recruitment services within HR, Finance, IT, Procurement, Marketing, Customer Contact and Executive Search.
