Software Team Lead | SaaS Company in central Bristol | Up to £65k Benefits I'm looking for someone to lead a team of software engineers within a successful SaaS company in the heart of Bristol. You would be mostly hands-off and providing technical leadership and guidance to a small cross-functional team. Their product essentially helps their customers to manage the core of their businesses in a more efficient way. They have a highly scalable platform that is built and integrated with AWS and Kubernetes, it's being used by over 1,200 companies across 30 different countries at present which is impressive due to the company being less than 10 years old. What we are looking for: You have a strong background in software engineering, specifically with Java. Strong leadership skills, the ability to assign work to the right people. You have an eye for seeing where something could have gone wrong, and where things can be improved. The ability to translate requirements to both technical and non-technical peers. Experience of managing projects. The ability to design, implement and test new components, products and integrations. Some of the best Java Engineers I've placed have landed with them and are loving it About the team/role: Their stack is made up of: Java, GoLang, Ruby, PHP, JavaScript, Spring boot, Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, MySQL, AWS, REST API's and using test-driven development methods. You will be working in close collaboration with Product Managers and have a strong focus on Agile project management as well as leading and mentoring less experienced developers. You will remain being involved with the designing, implementing and testing new components, products, and integrations.
