Overview
Currently recruiting for a Senior Buyer to join a procurement team for an organisation based in Warrington. The Senior Buyer will be covering generalist indirects to include IT; Marketing; Professional Services; FM; Capex etc. so will need a background in goods & services procurement. The Senior Buyer will be responsible for managing the supplier management framework. Responsibilities: - Ensure 3rd party suppliers are managed effectively - Support best practice procurement - Oversee & support on end-to-end tenders - Mitigate supply chain risks through due diligence - Contribute towards savings targets - Support development of the procurement strategy Essential Criteria: - Record of identifying & delivering cost savings - Ability to work to tight deadlines - Experience leading tender exercises - Worked with indirect categories - Experience in drafting contracts - Experience using e-procurement systems - Ability to influence stakeholders - Strong communication skills Desirable Criteria: - Working towards CIPS - Experience across multiple indirect categories Should you be interested in further information on the above then please do click to apply.
