Overview

Data Scientist - Python, Data Analysis, Machine Learning Methods & Techniques, Predictive Analytics, Data Mining, Data Pipelines - Cambridge As the Data Scientist, you will design and deliver data science capability for my client's product, to enable their customers to improve their delivery operations capabilities, through process, metrics, data and technology. You will work across the company's realtime platform (workforce management, operational insight etc), providing end to end data solutions as well as working with BI platforms, exposing data to empower the end user. The company needs someone with an analytical mindset and who is solution orientated. Someone with the ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and key customers to C'level. The Successful candidate will be degree educated - quantitative degree - Business IT, Maths, Statistics, Science, Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent and will demonstrate the following core skills and experience. Excellent at writing and analysing data using Python Experience with Machine Learning methods & techniques Experience with Predictive analytics, Machine Learning, Data Mining Experience with Data pipelines In addition to the above. Any experience /knowledge of the following is highly desirable: Understanding Dimensional modelling in integrated data sets or DWH Experience with different analysis tools (Power BI, Tableau) Knowledge of data warehousing strategies and theories Experience with statistical analysis MySQL, PostGres and Mongo data experience. Experience working in an agile environment Proactive interest in the BI best practice and latest techniques and approaches. Experience with statistical analysis This is a key hire for the business with high visibility throughout the organisation
