Overview
Exciting opportunity for an experienced Operation Manger and Safeguarding expert. My client is an excellent, London Based Charity. They are currently seeking a Head of Domestic Abuse and Slave Labour. £60-£62k per annum My client is an industry leader in providing domestic abuse services and modern-day slavery support, supporting children and adults across London for a number of years. They are currently looking for someone who has exceptional operational knowledge that can provide strategic insight whilst sharing my client values. The successful candidate must have proven success in driving large team performance, as well as expert knowledge in safeguarding and how tackle safeguarding issues. In return you will be part of a successful, modern and vibrant charity organisation. The role offers up to £61,802, along with unrivalled benefit in the charity sector. Person Specification Proven success leading high performing teams. Capability to set and achieve strategic outcomes. Ability to navigate within a political environment. Managing services/projects within budget and on time. Credible authority on the subjects of domestic abuse and modern slavery. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to write professional papers including bids and research papers. An understanding of the impact of trauma and the ability to create trauma-informed services. Ability to manage competing priorities effectively. Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding issues and ability to address them appropriately.
