Are you new to IT? Career change? Recent graduate? Our client currently needs entry level or experienced IT field service engineers to work on a sensitive project in the North West which is due to start in April. Experience is not required as 2 weeks of project specific paid training will be provided by the client. The role will involve close daily contact with the public at numerous locations. The role is up to 5 days a week and the shifts will start at 2pm each day. This project could potentially lead to a permanent position, however if this is not the case we will endeavour to find future projects which could include installation of hardware & software, networking, repair and fault finding plus upgrades of routers and other equipment. Main Responsibilities of the IT Field Engineers: · Attending customer sites to install/ resolve IT equipment · Working closely with the IT support desk to feedback on support calls and ongoing issues · Liaising with account managers and updating customers with the progress and resolution of issues Skills/Experience: · Strong Interpersonal/Customer skills - Essential · Windows Networking - Desirable · Wireless Networking - Desirable · Logical approach to fault finding & diagnostics - Desirable · MCP, Cisco or CompTIA Certification - Desirable · UK Driving Licence & own vehicle - Essential Application Process: Please visit our website to begin the recruitment process.
