Job Description Company Profile: Our client are a specialist Design agency, specialising in handling projects for major Construction companies Vacancy: Electrical Design Engineer - Residential Location: Chelmsford Type: Permanent or Contract Salary - Up to £50,000 per annum permanent or £36 ph ltd on contract (PAYE is available) Job Profile: Our client are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer, with experience in designing for the residential construction industry. Essential Skills Experience and Qualifications: You will be an Electrical Design Engineer, who specialises in or has a good understanding of electrical design, to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a great track record of working as an Electrical Design Engineer on new builds and the refurb of previous building designs. You must have excellent communication skills, as regular contact with the end client will be required. You must have excellent CAD skills, ideally proficient on AutoCAD, however other CAD packages will be considered. Job description: Our client will receive a concept or idea from the customer and the Design Engineer will take this idea and follow it through from cradle to grave. Plan the development of the project. Liaising and co-ordinating with clients, members of the design team and contractors on technical and commercial issues. Liaising closely with other professionals, including structural engineers, architects, surveyors, and contractors of in-house and external project teams Salary: Up to £32 per hour on a limited company basis or £50,000 per annum permanent Benefits: Standard benefits.
