Overview
Elevation Recruitment Group are pleased to be working exclusively with one of the UK's leading special purpose machinery companies to recruit an Electrical Design Engineer. My client is a growing, £20m TO business offering design & build solutions to a wide range of industries and end-users. Reporting to Technical Manager, the Electrical Design Engineer will lead the design of control panels and associated electrical systems for a variety of mechanical and hydraulic equipment. The Electrical Design Engineer's duties will include: Confirm electrical specification with Sales team and Customers Support and review new enquiries for the Sales team Electrical Design/creation of electrical drawings Electrical component selection Liaise with suppliers and panel builders Create client documentation as necessary, operating manuals, etc. Maintaining BOM's and Production Orders Assembly, checking, testing and commissioning of electrical systems Internal and external Technical support for electrical items We are very keen to speak to candidates with the following skills and experience: Qualified in Electrical Engineering Experience of panel design including isolators, relays, transformers etc. Skilled user of AutoCAD Electrical Knowledge of mechanical & hydraulic systems would be advantageous Experience of assembly & installation This is a fantastic opportunity to join a market-leading and innovative team.
