School ICT Support Technician - Manchester - £22K Salary: £19,000 to £22,000 Dependant on Experience Excellent benefits and Progression Are you looking for the chance to further your own career development through certifications and training? If so, I am working with an organisation in the educational sector are currently searching for an ICT Support Technician to join them at a time of growth. The successful candidate will be confident, comfortable working under pressure and on their own and have a strong desire to excel within their job role. As part of the role, you will be travelling to different Schools across the Manchester / Greater Manchester area, so a full driver's license and vehicle is a must. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wishes to progress in their career and work for an organisation that highly values teamwork across all departments and promotes a dynamic and hard-working yet friendly worth ethic. My client is searching for the right candidate who has excellent all-round knowledge of IT hardware and software. Whilst also being a self-motivated individual who is dedicated to their role. Technical Skills Required: Microsoft Windows Environments - Server and desktop Apple Mac Desktop experience Set up / support for Apple iPad's and Chromebooks Device deployment, management and support Hardware fault finding & resolution (servers, laptops, desktops, printers) Active Directory - User management, group policy and software/printer management Audio/Visual equipment (touchscreens, projectors, smartboards) Basic SIMS knowledge Besides from an excellent working environment and friendly management team, other benefits for the role include a discretionary bonus / profit share scheme, pension as well as funding for certifications.
