Our Client, a well establish and hugely successful Accountant & Business Advisory firm based in Liverpool City Centre are looking to hire an Audit Administrator to its expanding audit hub team. Role Overview: The Audit Support Hub provides audit set-up, planning and completion support to Audit stream clients, providing the valuation of simple financial derivatives and other adhoc work as required.The firm is looking to recruit Audit Assistants to join the Audit Support Hub based in Liverpool. This team is one of several Hubs within the clients Shared Service Centre (SSC). SSC team members work internally within the business providing support to the client facing members of the firm. The Role: Support regional client facing audit teams with multiple aspects of the annual audit process (including audit set up, report generation, derivative valuation, casting etc)This will be a challenging and rewarding role where you will: Work extensively with proprietary audit support systems and processes Deal with internal queries with colleagues and teams across the business. Provide support to other colleague teams dependent upon seasonality of core work Technical Requirements & Professional Skills: Well presented with a professional level of communication - both verbal and written IT skills - strong working knowledge of MS Office and similar desktop applications. Willingness to learn new systems is essential Essentials Good time management, organisation skills and the ability to prioritise and complete tasks with limited supervision. Ability to work well in a team environment. Ability to use own initiative and take a flexible approach. Advantageous Experience in either audit or finance is advantageous Degree or equivalent, particularly in a finance-related qualification Cordant Group is an equal opportunities employer
