An exciting opportunity for a Credit Control Supervisor has recently become available at leading organisation based in Coleshill, reporting directly in the Collections Manger you will play a pivotal role in the business. This role will offer you the chance to showcase your skills while developing strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. About the Credit Control Supervisor Position: Motivate and lead Collections Team to ensure strict adherence to Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements, while proactively managing performance Develop and coach team members to maximise collections and quality activity through side-by-side coaching and training Proactively monitor team and department performance against Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements and takes appropriate action to remedy any negative trends Team management including individual performance management, objective setting and personal development Co-ordinate activities of the Collection Team members to ensure a smooth and efficient department that reduces the number of arrears Proactively organise the Collections Team to successfully collect debts relating to Own Book, Invoiced and Direct Debit customers Resolution of customer queries within agreed SLA's to secure payments on time Arrears are managed to ensure overdue debt is kept to a minimum, working with the business and customers to resolve payment issues promptly Negotiate payment plans and payment schedules to suit the current financial situation whilst satisfying the debt Responsible for the day to day and end to end management of all legal cases, insolvencies, repossessions and returns Initiate and pursue legal proceedings as required by the Company i.e. prepare claim forms, defences etc in civil cases Ensure all company systems surrounding legal management, repossessions and collections are always accurate and up to date Essential Experience of the Credit Control Supervisor: Proven work experience within Collections / Credit Control environment Experience of managing a team Results focussed and able to lead teams to achieve a common goal Ability to work under pressure and to time limits and deadlines Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills Highly developed telephone and negotiation skills Accuracy, honesty and attention to detail Excellent planning and organising skills with the ability to prioritise own workload and those of the team Excellent IT skills including MS, Excel, Word and Powerpoint To express your interest in this Credit Control Team Leader position please apply direct or email your CV to
