The role of Business Analyst is really important to us. You will analyse the mortgage business's needs and help to define, document and manage requirements from idea through to analysis, design and Delivery. Based in our dynamic Wilmslow office, you will sit amongst a team of 15 and report to the Project Manager responsible for working with IT and our Mortgage System Supplier on both small and project sized change. What would your day look like? You will be responsible either on your own or as part of a wider team for the delivery of Business Analysis activities on a wide range of projects across a diverse portfolio of work. Through an in-depth understanding of the mortgage Business areas that you support, identify what stakeholders wish to achieve and through thorough investigation you will help to define and articulate the requirements for solutions to real business problems at all levels throughout the project life cycle, ensuring that they are complete and signed off. You will bring your analysis to life through the use of a range of analysis tools including the documentation of business processes through process mapping and design, using these to drive the analysis and capture of requirements in an effective and efficient way. You will act as the connection between the business and the IT delivery teams, translating complex technical language into simple to understand and meaningful messages that can be understood by all. What do we expect of you? The ability to be able to create BA delivery plans / Work packages (identifying relevant activities/timescales & deliverables for the specific project). You must be able to communicate at all levels in simplistic non-technical terms, must be comfortable to challenge scope and validate requirements at all times to achieve accuracy. Possessing a blend of business and IT elements with soft skills you will be able to influence and negotiate decisions. Knowledge of the full SDLC experience with particular focus on activities from pre-initiation through to analysis and design. A working knowledge of DPR Mortgage platform would be advantageous.
