The role is based near Wilmslow and Manchester Airport and is paying up to £28k, plus benefits. They are looking for a bright, enthusiastic Support Analyst with SAP Business One skills and ideally SQL. You may be working for a software reseller at the moment, or you may be in a helpdesk role or systems administration role at an end user company, working with SAP Business One. Either way they encourage their people to gain relevant technical and professional qualifications - and they support your continuous development through comprehensive training programs; career progression here is excellent. Additional knowledge that would be useful includes SQL scripting, Boyum, Crystal reports, SAP HANA, SQL administration, or Task Centre. Their strong development team enables them to make significant enhancements to standard applications. THE ROLE: As a SAP Business One Support Consultant your main responsibility will be to provide telephone and email application support services to their loyal SAP Business One client base and ensure that clients get an excellent level of service. As part of a small busy team, you will deal with support tickets for SAP B1 queries, logging and documenting enquiries and using your analytical skills to come up with solutions, which you will then test. You will find resolutions in a proactive manner, find new apps or 3rd party products that complement SAP B1 functionality, and address gaps between the software and the business needs of the users. You might also get involved in training some of the users. THE REQUIREMENTS: Previous experience in an SAP Business One support role, excellent problem-solving and analytical skills are essential, and the successful candidate must have very good spoken and written communication skills and be comfortable talking to clients on the phone.
