Overview
I am currently working with a manufacturing business with a nationwide footprint who are currently looking for a Financial Manager based in their Newcastle office to be No.2 in finance and be responsible for the day-to-day running of the finance team. This is a genuinely exciting opportunity for someone seeking the next step in their career. With a strong customer base, you will be responsible for internal and external stakeholder management, along with monitoring efficiency and reconciling and monitoring stock, costs and contracts within the division. The business itself has a revenue of around £15 million and are looking for a strong personality with the drive to implement genuine organisational change. Having grown organically, they are keen to add to their strong and friendly working environment with this role with someone who is focused on career progression. The position will be heavily focused on Business Partnering with other divisions of the business and working in a heavily commercial environment. The successful candidate will need strong technical ability along with solid relationship building skills. This position will be focused around both the day-to-day financial operations, but also much larger company projects and continuous improvement. You will ideally be ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified and have the gravitas to implement change and nurture and develop relationships internally as well as externally. You will need experience with costings and preferably have a strong manufacturing background.
