Marine Insurance Broker, City, up to £45,000, for a small independent Lloyd's Broker. Your new company Your new job working as a Marine Broker will be working for an Independent and Growing Lloyd's Broker with state of the art offices based in the heart of the City. Due to the growth within their Marine Division, a permanent position for a Marine Insurance Broker placing all classes of LATAM and European Marine risks has arisen Your new role Your new job working as a Marine Insurance Broker, means you will be working in a small team responsible for supporting Directors with the running of the Marine Book. You will undertake a full 360 role - This will include; placement of Marine risks into the Lloyd's and London Markets, production of MRC Slips, Endorsements and Underwriting information for broking purposes. You will be responsible for placing the risks, travelling to clients and the production of all documentation: MRC Slips, cover notes, premium, Contract Load Up & all relevant documentation. Due to the nature of the business, you will also be responsible for negotiating competitive terms with underwriters and many of the Marine risks are placed on the open market. You will develop an excellent working relationship with clients and markets as necessary What you'll need to succeed Your previous experience working as a Marine Insurance Broker within a Lloyd's Broker where you have had experience of handling all classes of Marine will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will be strong technically and competent in the production and processing of various technical documentation to include; MRC Slips, Endorsements, Credit/Debit notes and client presentation. You will be confident in your ability to liaise and negotiate risks with Lloyd's Insurers and have proven experience on placement into Lloyd's and managing client needs. You will be accurate and timely when it comes to producing all technical documentation and have a deep understanding of all classes of Marine Insurance risks. You will have strong communication and be able to develop relationships with Insurers, Clients and Brokers alike. Your confident nature will allow you to fit well into a dynamic and growing team. This role would suit a Marine Insurance Broker who wishes to work in the City for an independent Broker and gain autonomy on accounts.
