Job Description

" The Crown Estate is recruiting for a Marine Consents Manager to join the Marine Planning team on a 12 month fixed term contract or secondment basis, based out of our St James's Market offices. This is an exciting role which will be working to reduce consenting risks and facilitate the timely and robust consenting of offshore energy, minerals and infrastructure developments, as well as providing expert technical advice on planning and consenting matters to the wider business in order to protect and grow the value of our portfolio. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the marine sector with experience of the planning & consenting framework for marine developments, and working with environmental impact assessments. We require proven experience of delivering advice to non-technical colleagues and stakeholders, as this is essential for building relationships quickly and representing The Crown Estate professionally at external industry led events. In order to be successful within this role, you will need to have an analytical approach to understanding consenting risk and opportunities and be able to work in a flexible, motivated manner.
