We want you because you are an experienced Project Management Officer /PMO/ Project Manager /PM who has managed significant strategically important Client Delivery projects requiring outstanding senior stakeholder management. Project Manager - Client Delivery Location: London - E1 8QS Salary: £38k Employment Status: Full Time - Temporary - 6 month FTC You have a broad range of project management experience within Client Delivery non IT related large scale projects where you have been extremely hands on. This role will be incredibly varied and therefore requires someone who is happy to undertake a broad remit to get the job done. You will be involved in managing the roll out of a large and extremely high profile learning and development programme therefore experience of similar would be advantageous. A bit about us. Main Purpose of Role As an experienced PMO will know, their role is to plan, execute, manage and finalise projects according to strict deadlines and within budget including acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of key stakeholders and third-parties. That is exactly what you will do in this role. You will be experienced enough in this area to retain sight of the project's objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle, liaising with internal and external contacts efficiently and effectively. This is a dynamic role within a fast-paced organization and as such you must be prepared to be flexible and open to participate in all activities within a project. This is an end to end project management role but also includes duties to support the wider team including setting up meetings, client visits and minute taking/circulation. Key Responsibilities: - To confidently lead meetings with external senior stakeholders - To support and assist senior stakeholders in all aspects of new projects - To regularly meet and liaise with management teams regarding overall approach and prioritisation/resolution of any issues, for example regarding development and delivery. - Direct and manage project development from concept to completion. - Define project scope, goals, budgets and deliverables that support business goals, in collaboration with senior management and key stakeholders. - Develop detailed proposals, project plans, schedules, timelines and milestones (using appropriate tools as necessary), templates, contracts, presentations, progress reports and associated communications documents. - To schedule resourcing of the project in terms of writing, editing, review, sign off, design and media production - Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential problem areas and devise contingency plans as required, assessing and determining the need to escalate any need for additional resources, if necessary during project cycle. - Conduct post implementation reviews and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and less successful project elements. - Utilize and enhance ICA best practices and tools for project execution and management. Skills and Experience Required: - Experience in the same or similar client delivery project management including; - Developing detailed proposals, project plans, schedules, timelines and milestones - Creating project templates, contracts, presentations, progress reports and associated communications documents - Scheduling resourcing of the project in terms of writing, editing, review, sign off, design and media production - Proactively managing changes in project scope, identifying potential problem areas and devising contingency plans - Assessing and determining the need to escalate any need for additional resources during project cycle. - Strong attention to detail - Exceptional communication skills - comfortable liasing with senior external clients over email and face to face.
