Overview
A central Government department currently seeks an experienced Lead Test Engineer to join their technology team in London. The Lead Test Engineer will be a hands-on individual who would have previously worked within project delivery teams overseeing varied QA activities. You will have significant experience with Test Automation practices using open source tools while leading a QA team of Automation and QA Analysts. Responsibilities: Provide quality assurance and testing standards and policies to supplies Co-ordinate across systems and aiding in end to end testing, removing issues and providing guidance on internal systems Aid production team with acceptance testing and sign off Manage testing risks, issues, dependencies and resolve these as appropriate Essential Experience Required: Experience as a QA Lead Solid experience building automation test frameworks from scratch Extremely good experience with Selenium Webdriver Experience using Cucumber and BDD Co-ordination of testing across multiple systems Proven experience working in agile teams Knowledge of Java and other programming languages (C# or Ruby) Web automation testing experience with Selenium Mobile testing automation API testing with REST applications Exposure to CI/CD The successful candidate will be paid an annual salary between £55-60k plus bonuses.
