This is an exciting opportunity for system administrator or candidates that have exposure to DevOps and want to pursue DevOps full time. Day to day you will be managing platform operations and overseeing deployment to clients whilst working closely with the development team to ensure smooth releases. This is a career defining opportunity as this is their first dedicated DevOps role allowing you to carve your own progression in the organisation whilst also being provided training in DevOps. This is all whilst working in a relaxed yet vibrant environment for a company that has regular social outings. Key Responsibilities Responsible for managing the operational side of a SaaS platform within the scope of a change management process. Maintenance of staging / production infrastructure and operating systems (Linux). Automation of infrastructure via scripting. Working with Cloud Services (AWS) and CI / CD Pipelines (Jenkins). Essential Experience Required Experience with Linux administration (preferably Ubuntu). Experience managing infrastructure for production systems - Encryption, Monitoring / metrics, Logging, Backups. An understanding of the importance of automation and testing, particularly around infrastructure and configuration management. Desirable experience Experience with Cloud Services (AWS, Azure etc) and DevOps tooling (Jenkins, Terraform, Kubernetes etc) is highly desirable. Experience managing load balanced environments. Experience with change management.
