Multi track EL/PL up to £100K (RTA experience also considered) and assisting on catastrophic matters - Manchester - 0-4 PQE £40,000 - £44,000 RTA SOLICITOR MULTI TRACK - MANCHESTER Personal Injury Solicitor Manchester - This role offers a varied litigated caseload of multi track, catastrophic / large loss EL/PL matters. Candidates should have strong academics and be able to demonstrate EL/PL experience, though general EL/PL and RTA experience will also be considered provided from a defendant background. Your general caseload will be up to £100K / £150K, however you will also assist on higher value matters of up to £1m and beyond. BRIEF OVERVIEW OF ROLE Job Title: Solicitor / Associate Location: Manchester Salary: £40,000 - £44,000 Reports to: Partner Expertise: Strong academic background. Ideally multi track and / or large loss EL/PL, though general litigated fast track and multi track RTA and EL/PL will be considered, provided coupled with strong academics and defendant background. General caseload will be up to £100K / £150K, but will assist on catastrophic matters also. VARIETY OF QUALITY WORK As an Associate within the team, you will work directly with a number of key clients of the firm. Ideally, the department is looking for solicitors who can hit the ground running and are capable of running with a given caseload of multi track EL/PL matters up to £150K, though RTA experience will also be considered. It should be stressed all fee earners benefit from a high degree of support, though the hiring manager does want to attract a confident associate, ideally from a defendant background with sufficient technical proficiency to enable them to pick up a busy caseload. GENUINE CLIENT CONTACT AND EXPOSURE One of the key elements of the role is that it offers genuine client contact. Therefore, all applicants need to be comfortable building rapport and relationships. The client base is a mix of household named insurers as well as corporates, which include large national businesses. Candidates need to be able to deliver cogent, practical advice in a confident manner whether on the phone or in person. With that in mind, the team is looking for people who not only have the right experience, but who come across in the right way.
