Tax Disputes Associate 2PQE
Overview
Major City firm is looking to hire a specialist tax disputes and investigations associate, preferably with at least 2PQE (although strong more junior candidates will also be considered), to handle a broad range of tax disputes and investigations, often complex and international, for a wide range of clients from ultra high net worth private clients through to large corporates. Since this is a particular growth area for the firm, this is an important role which will include supporting the partners to further develop the practice we well as considerable client contact and a large amount of responsibility. Applicants should ideally have some relevant tax and/or litigation experience and the enthusiasm to develop a broad practice across the whole range of contentious tax matters, including both private client and corporate tax. In addition to tax specialists currently in other law firms, the partners will also look favourably on Tax barristers wishing to move from the bar into private practice as well as tax lawyers currently in-house who are also looking to make the transition to private practice.
