Overview
We are advertising for an excellent opportunity to join our dynamic team. We are looking for a hardworking, personable individual who fits the criteria outlined below. As part of the role, the successful candidate will be tasked with working on a variety of clients. There is a great opportunity to develop your career further within the firm. What we are looking for Ideally we would prefer a candidate who has at least 3 years of practical experience in the accountancy practice sector with the AAT qualification being desirable but not necessary. As well as this, you will have a strong work ethic and be committed to delivering exceptional client service. Good IT and communication skills are a must along with excellent organisational skills. Our friendly team will be more than happy to provide on the job support and training as required with the potential candidate having the opportunity to lead on to a study/training package depending on background. The key areas of responsibility for this position are: Preparation of limited company, sole trader and partnership accounts Bookkeeping Preparation of in depth management accounts (including management journals) to a review stage. VAT returns Personal and corporation tax returns Dealing with clients and answering any queries What you’ll need to be successful Experience of using software packages such as Sage, Iris, Xero, Excel & Kashflow is desirable for the role. The role will be principally based at our office’s in Bromborough but, as and when required; work will also be undertaken at our clients’ offices therefore it is essential that any successful applicant has a full clean driving licence with own travel.
