Overview

We are looking to recruit an Insurance Business Operations Analyst to join a busy and professional team based in Birmingham. You will be responsible for completing a variety of tasks within their dynamic, friendly and driven office's. Key Responsibilities We need you demonstrate how to implement operational change initiatives across the business. You'll apply robust levels of governance to ensure they are compliant, it's one of their key focus areas. You will build and maintain strong links with the UK business and operational functions to ensure key partners are involved in operations activities. You are their expert and will guide them with monitoring, ensuring appropriate levels of monitoring and reporting are in place. You'll be aiming to improve not only the business but also ensure good customer outcomes. You follow the principles of Design, Implement, Embed when planning and delivering any activities & projects. You will work collaboratively with your colleagues to ensure team objectives are met, they need a strong teammate. You should be pro-active in achieving and maintaining the required competencies by being dedicated to further learning and development of your own career and skill base. Experience, Knowledge and Skills We are seeing canidates that have already gained a grounding working within the general insurance industry. This can be from any disapline but you must have working knowledge of FCA procedures and the broker functions. Ideally you will have started profressional qualifications. An integral part of your role will be to have a general understanding of how businesses operate, commercials, business drivers etc and share your expert knowledge. You will be a strong communicator with phenomenal interpersonal skills. You'll be able to communicate well across levels, work well in a team but can deliver on solo projects. You're a multi-tasker with a strong sense of good analytical & numeracy skills. You are adept at organising and planning and can identify potential risks and seek advice when appropriate. You'll often use your problem solving skills to help us deliver an excellent service to our customers.
