Due to successfully continuing to bring in new business over the last few months, my client are expanding their office and require a talented and hungry candidate to join their Birmingham setup. Supporting the company director and account executive your day to day duties will include checking tenants details, addresses and checking values, leasing with insurers to negotiate the most competitive rates and producing accurate documentation. Although massively rewarding, this is a labour intensive position so you will need to have the right attitude and be a hard worker. But there is so much to offer in this role, and you could easily be the future of the business (should you have the hunger and right attitude!) The role would really suit a candidate who is looking for a position which will offer the opportunity to step up in to an executive position in the future and have a client facing part to their day to day if this is what they desire. You will need to have a real fine eye for detail, be focused and really know and understand the commercial property insurance world and how it works. A strong understanding of commercial property risks including contract works, Property Owners, and Engineering Inspection will be required. Candidates will be considered from a insurance broking, claims or legal background but must have a good understanding of Commercial Property & Construction insurance. Expereince using SAP software will be a huge bonus, although not essential. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing insurance broker and progress in your career.
